Headlights

Title courtesy There Will Be Fireworks. I was voluntarily hospitalized last night. It took eight hours from the time we walked into the ER to the time I reached the psych ward floor. I slept maybe three hours last night, so I took a nap when I got home today. I'm glad I'm home, but I'm glad I went. Headlights illuminate things that otherwise might not have been seen, and going to the hospital illuminated a couple things in my life: 1) Adult Partial Hospitalization Program Referral. Due to my admission to the hospital, the fact that I wasn't suicidal the following day (today), and several factors related to my history, the psychiatrist
